Edge Says Adding Dominik Mysterio To Judgment Day Was A Genius Move

Dominik Mysterio made his WWE debut in 2020 and since then, he has had solid start to his career. Initially, Dominik’s run in WWE began with a storyline involving his father Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins. This led to Dominik’s first match at SummerSlam 2020, where he teamed up with his father to take on Rollins and Murphy in a tag team match. Despite his lack of experience, Dominik impressed many with his athleticism and in-ring abilities.

Dominik Mysterio has shown a lot of potential in WWE and has received praise for his performances in the ring. A report suggests that WWE is “impressed” by Dominik Mysterio’s growth as a pro wrestler.

A report said that the company has “gained more faith” in him, however, Ringside News exclusively reported that was not the case and Dominik has not impressed anyone, but that does not take away anything from his abilities. He has progressed at the rate they expected from him. Moreover, the former Smackdown Tag Team Champion recently received praise from the 11-time World Champion, Edge.

Although the two may have clashed onscreen, Dominik Mysterio is a big favorite of WWE star Edge. The “Rated R Superstar” was thrown out from Judgment Day last year, and Finn Balor became their new leader and Dominik Mysterio joined the squad a few months later.

Despite no longer being associated with Judgment Day, Edge still had a lot of praise for Dominik Mysterio’s work. During an appearance on “After the Bell with Corey Graves,” Edge emphasized how proud he is of the group as a whole, especially Dominik Mysterio.

“The addition of Dom to this thing [was] just a stroke of genius, honestly,” Edge said. “I think from it, Dom has been able to grow into … a major part of making this thing work.”

At this point, Dominik Mysterio is set to face off against his father, Rey Mysterio, at WrestleMania 39. That feud has been escalating every week, and fans are getting invested a lot. Only time will tell who wins when the two finally throw down at the Showcase of the Immortals.
