Angelo Dawkins Says He & Montez Ford Will Never Betray Each Other

The Street Profits, the team of Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, worked hard to become one of the mainstays of WWE’s tag team division. In fact, they were seemly irreplaceable as a tag team for many. With WWE focusing on Ford lately, fans have wondered if they will break up. Now it seems Angelo Dawkins has reassured fans that he and Ford will never betray each other.

Montez Ford explained just how significant The Rock was in his career. The Rock saw what Ford said and gave him very encouraging message as well. In fact, it even ended up making Montez Ford cry. 

In fact, Montez Ford had a star-making performance at the Elimination Chamber match for the United States Championship, as he simply amazed fans and WWE Superstars alike.

Over the course of their six-year partnership, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins have achieved numerous accomplishments in the world of professional wrestling. They have earned the distinction of being the second WWE Tag Team Triple Crown Champions, and they have also held the EVOLVE Tag Titles.

While speaking to the Attitude Era Podcast, Angelo Dawkins was asked if there were plans for him and Ford to go their separate ways. He shot down that idea and made it clear that he and Ford will never betray each other.

Nah, never (Dawkins responded when asked if there was a plan to split The Street Profits). Never. We’re brothers till the end bro. We’re always gonna support each other no matter what, we always got each other’s back, we ain’t never turning.

Monez Ford also previously stated that he wants to become WWE Champion if The Street Profits break up. WWE could also be planning singles run for Montez Ford. We’ll have to see whether WWE will pull the trigger on Ford’s single run.
