Dragon Lee shocked everyone when he announced he has signed with WWE at the AAA Noche de Campeones event in Acapulco, Mexico, on December 28, 2022. Tonight, the innovative luchadore finally made his WWE debut at NXT Roadblock.

WWE cameras showed Dragon Lee watching all the action from the crowd during NXT Roadblock tonight. Lee was shown during the six-man tag team on the show. Triple H used to debut new signings in similar fashion during his time as the head booker of the black and gold version of WWE NXT.

Welcome to #WWENXT, @dragonlee95!

As previously reported, Dragon Lee could not appear during the NXT Vengeance Day event due to visa issues. We also reported that he was spotted backstage at the WWE Performance Center before his highly-anticipated arrival on Shawn Michaels’ version of NXT.

WWE’s interest in Lee sparked when they noticed AEW put him on television without any contract. For those wondering, Lee first appeared for Tony Khan’s promotion on the August 17, 2022, episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite. He teamed up with fellow  La Facción Ingobernable members Andrade El Idolo and RUSH in the opening round of the AEW World Trios Tag Team Tournament.

We’ll have to see what Shawn Michaels has planned for Dragon Lee in NXT. The Heartbreak Kid will join Grayson Waller for a special edition of The Grayson Waller Effect later on during the show.
