Liv Morgan is still trying hard to regain her footing on top of the SmackDown Women’s Division after losing her title to Ronda Rousey last year. The road to WrestleMania hasn’t been kind to Liv Morgan either, but that hasn’t stopped her from showing up every week to give her all. Plans can always change around WWE, and that includes creative for Liv Morgan. It seems that happened again for the former Riott Squad member.

According to a report from Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, Liv Morgan was originally planned a segment last week on SmackDown. This would have set up that match with Rhea Ripley, but it was nixed.

We’re told the nixed Liv Morgan segment last week would have built to the Rhea Ripley match.

Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley were the final two competitors in the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble match. Only time will tell when they meet again, but when that days happens they have plenty of history to rehash.

We will have to see what Liv Morgan does on the road to WrestleMania 39. At this time, she is not booked for a match. Rhea Ripley, on the other hand, is set up for a big match against Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Title.
