Wardlow was humiliated by Samoa Joe in the worst possible way during the buildup to the TNT Championship match at AEW Revolution. Tonight, Mr. Mayhem got his revenge and the title.

Samoa Joe put his TNT Championship on the line against Wardlow during AEW Revolution tonight. The Samoan Submission dominated most part of the match due to his overall in-ring abilities and experience.

Wardlow showed incredibly agility during the match as well. Mr. Mayhem landed a picture perfect dive on his former tag team partner from the top rope. Wardlow’s tremendous strength was on display during the match as well.

Wardlow reversed Joe’s momentum during the closing moments of the match and caught him in his own sleeper hold. The referee called for the bell after Samoa Joe passed out to the hold.

Wardlow lifted the newly-won title and looked at Powerhouse Hobbs, who had been watching all the action from the skybox. The two will collide for the title on the upcoming edition of Wednesday Night Dynamite.
