Konosuke Takeshita, Ortiz, Eddie Kingston, Action Andretti, Sammy Guevara, Powerhouse Hobbs, AR Fox, and Kommander (who made his AEW Dynamite debut) competed in the high-stakes ladder match on Dynamite tonight. TNT and ROH World Television Champion Samoa Joe was on commentary for the match.

All participants of the match immediately exited the ring to grab the ladder on the sound of the opening bell. Kommander displayed tremendous athleticism as he walked on the ropes to deliver a huge dropkick on Action Andretti. Powerhouse Hobbs also played his part as he systematically destroyed other participants with his tremendous strength.

Don Callis was shown watching the action from backstage as well. Kommander provided another highlight of the match when he ran on the ring rope to land a huge dive on the other participants, getting a huge pop from the San Francisco crowd in the process. Hometown boy Hobbs took out AR Fox with a huge slam on a wedged ladder to the outside.

Konosuke Takeshita hit Kommander with a huge blue thunder bomb from the top of the ladder. The international star was inches away from winning the match, but Action Andretti stopped him. Daniel Garcia arrived to push the ladder. He hit Andretti with a Rock Bottom. Garcia then set up a ladder on the outside and helped Guevara hit with a huge dive.

The closing moments of the match saw Powerhouse Hobbs prevent Takeshita from climbing the ladder. He then got to the top of the ladder to unhook the giant ring, winning the Face of the Revolution Ladder match in the process. Hobbs then confronted Joe and Wardlow.

Hobbs will take on the winner of Samoa Joe versus Wardlow for the TNT Championship next Wednesday on Dynamite. For those wondering, the Samoan Submission Machine and Mr. Mayhem are set to take on each other in at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view event this Sunday.
