Chris Jericho is a veteran in the pro wrestling world who competed all over the world over the past three decades. He is also proud to be working in AEW and isn’t afraid to show it. Being veteran in the business, he doesn’t really have much care about what his haters have to say. In fact, Jericho stated that he helped MJF get to the next level.

For almost a year, Chris Jericho and MJF were engaged in a storyline. This dated back to MJF trying to join The Inner Circle all the way to their final match back in 2021.

His feud with MJF featured the Five Labors Of Jericho, which had Jericho compete in matches against the likes of Nick Gage among others. Things are different for both stars now.

After all, MJF is now the face of the company, becoming the AEW World Champion. While speaking on the In The Kliq podcast, Chris Jericho stated that he helped get MJF to the next level in AEW.

“MJF, I worked with MJF for a year. MJF was not the MJF he is now. Working with me for a year helped him become the MJF to get to the next level. All of that is done by design in my head.”

MJF will put his AEW World Championship on the line against Bryan Danielson in a 60-minute Iron Man match at the Revolution pay-per-view event on Sunday, March 5th. We’ll have to see how the match will turn out.
