AEW stars give their all in the ring, and sometimes that results in injury. It’s always important to take recovery seriously, but it seems that one injured star is making strides toward that in-ring return.

Leyla Hirsch made her AEW debut in 2020 and quickly made an impact with her wrestling skills and background. She was featured in some mid-card feuds before she had to take time off due to injury after suffering a torn ACL injury during an AEW Dark Elevation PPV. It was later revealed that she underwent surgery.

Fightful Select is now reporting that Leyla Hirsch is “slowly getting there” after having her knee surgery in May. There was even word that she had resumed her in-ring training recently.

“As of the last update we’d heard on Leyla Hirsch was that she was “slowly getting there,” after having knee surgery in May. There was word that she’d resumed in-ring training recently,” per Fightful Select.
