Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler established themselves as one of the greatest tag teams in the last decade. Their time in professional wrestling has been nothing short of legendary. Following a very grueling schedule in 2022, FTR decided it was time for them to take some time off from pro wrestling. Rumors recently spread that Harwood was unhappy following some of his actions on social media. Now it seems Harwood decided to shoot down those rumors.

Over the weekend, Dax Harwood took to Twitter to hint at the impending expiration of his team’s AEW contracts. In a cleverly worded tweet, Harwood referenced the upcoming month of April by writing, “tell me April’s around the corner without telling me April’s around the corner.”

This tweet came in response to AEW’s congratulatory message to The Briscoes for winning a “Feud of the Year” award, but with no mention of FTR. Naturally, this started rumors that he was unhappy with AEW in general.

A news article was then published with the headline “Dax Harwood seemingly unhappy about recent AEW omission.” Harwood saw the article and decided to reply to it, making it clear that he is not unhappy whatsoever.

“Guys, real quick, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. The ‘he’s unhappy’ narrative that’s been painted of me because I stand up for myself has always made me laugh, but today even more. I’m very appreciative of what all of you have given me & my family. Stress is down, life is good.”

Tony Khan is also hopeful about FTR making their return to AEW. FTR is most definitely in very interesting position at the moment. Ringside News will provide more details on FTR’s status with AEW when it is available.

Will FTR stay in AEW or test the waters of free agency? Sound off in the comments!
