Stephanie McMahon has been one of the most vital figures in WWE history. The former Women’s Champion resigned from the position of Co-CEO earlier this year after the return of her father as executive chairman. It was later speculated that the father daughter duo had issues working with each other. It turns out that wasn’t the case at all.

Fans had expressed disappointment after Stephanie McMahon’s resignation, as she has been influential in the development of the company in recent years, especially the Women’s Division. Stephanie McMahon’s presence in the company is well liked by her peers, as she has been an amazing person to work under.

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon have known each other since the Attitude Era. The two have also worked extensively during Foley’s stint as the General Manager of RAW in 2016. As per the storyline, McMahon was the one who had fired Foley as the General Manager.

Back in 2001, Mick Foley wanted top publish his children’s book Tales from Wrestcal Lane, which included fictional stories involving Stephanie and Vince McMahon. However, as the Hardcore Legend left WWE in 2001, the book wasn’t published that year. It was then published in 2004, when Foley returned to the company.

During a recent edition of Foley is Pod, Mick Foley stated that when Stephanie McMahon learned of the fictional stories involving herself, she called Foley and said that she never thought that he liked her, to which Foley was skeptical.

“It wouldn’t go on to be published for three more years because I had a falling out with the company, and when we mended fences, the first thing I asked Vince was, ‘Can we do that book now?’ So it came out three years later than it should have, and Stephanie sees it in 2001, and she calls me up, and she goes, ‘Honestly, I never thought you liked me.’ And I was like, ‘Why would you feel that?”

Stephanie McMahon had surgery after her departure from the company. While her husband, Triple H continues to oversee the creative aspect of the company, it has now been revealed that Vince McMahon is reported to be indulging himself in the creative aspect of the company.
