AEW opened their doors and made a declaration that they would allow their contracted talent to work for the indies. That being said, AEW has a schedule of events, and it’s possible that Tony Khan will pull someone if they are needed elsewhere, because Jon Moxley was just pulled from an Over The Top Wrestling show.

Jon Moxley was scheduled to appear at Scrappermania in Ireland for Over The Top on March 17. Now the former AEW World Heavyweight Champion is no longer appearing.

AEW is starting up their house shows, and they need him. Jon Moxley is the top star advertised for AEW’s House Rules live event on March 18th in Troy, Ohio. Of course, Ohio is Moxley’s home state, so he will be a major draw for the show.

Jon Moxley vs. Trent Seven was set to go down at the OTT event. In Moxley’s place AEW is sending Eddie Kingston and an unnamed talent to the show. That might be a good replacement, but now fans in Ohio won’t get to see Eddie Kingston.

“OTT have announced their first ever FanFest for Scrappermania 7. Due to circumstances out of their control, Jon Moxley will no longer be available to appear. Eddie Kingston, a 2nd unnamed AEW star, will appear along with Santino Marella, Davey Richards, Big Damo and more.”

We’ll have to see who AEW sends along with Eddie Kingston to make up for pulling Jon Moxley. It makes perfect sense that AEW pulled Moxley for their Ohio house show. Hopefully, Jon Moxley will make it back to Ireland, so he can make up for this situation.
