Liv Morgan got 2023 off to a great start with a stunning performance at the Royal Rumble. Without Asuka’s green mist, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion would have won the Royal Rumble. Speaking of Asuka, Liv found herself on the receiving end of a beatdown at the hands of Evil Clown, during a 6-woman tag team match on this week’s edition of RAW, which saw some trolling by Carmella and a heated back and forth between the two.
This week’s edition of Monday Night RAW featured a 6-woman RAW vs SmackDown tag team match. The multi-woman bout pitted all six competitors in the Women’s Elimination Chamber at this upcoming weekend pay-per-view.
However, one superstar from the match, Carmella has already started her mind games with fellow chamber competitor Liv Morgan. She recently posted a picture of Asuka trapping Liv in a submission hold on Twitter, where she could visibly see howling in pain, claiming that Morgan was not ready for Asuka.
“I guess @YaOnlyLivvOnce wasn’t ready for @WWEAsuka … 😏.”
Liv Morgan was not going to stay quiet on those remarks. She responded by claiming that whether it was Asuka or Carmella herself, Liv Morgan was ready to step up against anyone in her quest to rise to the top once again. You can check out her response here.
Hahahaha not u thinking of me on a random Thursday afternoon Not only am I ready for @WWEAsuka & #WWEChamber… I’m ready for u Mella. Anytime, anywhere princess 😜
Liv Morgan’s run as the SmackDown Women’s champion last year was widely regarded by the fans last year. Not only she was featured in high-profile programs, but she also had exceptional wrestling bouts with the likes of Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler.
The Miracle Kid is looking to regain championship gold as she steps inside the Elimination Chamber match this Saturday against the other six aforementioned competitors. The winner of the match will earn herself a RAW Women’s championship match against Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 39.
