Mercedes Mone & Naomi Booked For An Appearance Together In March

Sasha Banks and Naomi made headlines last year after they walked out on an episode of Monday Night RAW. Their actions had ramifications and ripple effects in professional wrestling as well. While Banks is now in NJPW, Naomi’s status in the industry remains a question mark. That being said, they are booked for an appearance together in March.

Sasha Banks debuted as Mercedes Mone at Wrestle Kingdom 17 last month and is now a permanent fixture of New Japan Pro Wrestling. She confronted KAIRI following her IWGP Women’s Championship match against Tam Nakano.

Her tag team partner, Naomi, has been absent since the pair walked out of WWE during a May 2022 episode of RAW. As a result of their actions, they were both suspended by the company and had their Women’s Tag Team Championship titles revoked.

The Emerald City Comic Con took to Twitter and officially announced that both Mercedes Mone and Naomi will be appearing together next month for the event.

Naomi also made an interesting change during her WWE hiatus. Regardless, while Mone’s future is already certain, the same can’t be said for Naomi. We’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for Naomi.
