Carmella’s Latest WWE RAW Outfit Was A Nod To Lita

Carmella worked incredibly hard to make a name for herself in the super-stacked WWE roster. Mela’s dedication to the craft earned her multiple accolades in the sports and entertainment juggernaut.

Carmella qualified for the Elimination Chamber this week on RAW. The former Money in the Bank winner bested Piper Niven, Michin (Mia Yim) and Candie LeRae in a fatal-four way match on the red brand this week.

Carmella was interviewed by Cathy Kelly backstage after her win. Mella was asked about the gear she wore to the ring last night on WWE RAW. Carmella revealed her in-ring gear was inspired by WWE Hall of Famer Lita.

“Okay, so, this (gear) is totally inspired by Lita. I always try to have inspiration with my gear. Coming back, it’s my first match in seven months and I had to look the part honey, and she (Lita) was my inspiration. I was hoping she’d get to see it, and she loved it.”

For those wondering, Lita appeared in the main event of RAW last night to help Becky Lynch against Damage CTRL inside steel cage. WWE have huge plans for the Hall of Famer as well. You can read more about the plans here.
