Samoa Joe is undoubtedly one of the top stars in AEW after he made his return to AEW television a while ago. Since then, fans have been very happy to see him back. He won the TNT Title again on Dynamite this week, leading to some concerns. However, Bully Ray believes that Joe winning the title doesn’t hurt Darby Allin.

Darby Allin and Samoa Joe had been engaged in a very personal feud for the past few weeks. It even saw Darby Allin beat Samoa Joe for the TNT Title last month, in a feel-good moment for fans.

As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Darby Allin defended his TNT Championship against Samoa Joe in a No Holds Barred rematch.

Joe used a Muscle Buster on Allin on the exposed wood in the ring to pick up the win. This was met with criticism as the title changed hands twice in the span of a month.

While speaking during the latest Busted Open Radio podcast, Bully Ray stated that he believes that the title being flip-flopped does not hurt the wrestlers involved.

I like when one championship constantly gets flip-flopped and if you’re going to flip-flop a championship, the Television Title is the one to do it with. You always have that aspect of, ‘anything can happen in any show, any city.’ People love when they get a title change… So, yeah, flip-flopping that belt, I’d like to see it often. I don’t think it hurts anybody, especially if you have to defend that championship every week.

We will have to wait and see how The Samoan Submission Machine will be booked as the champion in the coming weeks.
