Tony Khan’s Father Thought He Was Blowing His Inheritance On AEW

AEW President Tony Khan is known for lot of things, including his passion for pro wrestling. His drive for the business is certainly not something fans doubt, either. That being said, it seems Tony Khan’s father Shahid Khan thought he was blowing his inheritance on AEW.

AEW made its debut back in 2019 and strived to provide an alternative product to what WWE was putting out at the time. For the most part, it has succeeded in its endeavour.

The company has gone through numerous changes over the years and fans have largely reacted positively to the changes introduced so far.

Bloomberg covered AEW and Tony Khan in a profile feature, during which it was revealed that Shahid Khan thought Tony Khan was blowing his inheritance money on AEW.

He ended up saying something along the lines of ‘I guess you’re going to inherit half of this money, and if you want to start blowing it now, fine.

Tony Khan also recently announced the start of AEW introducing live events for fans. We’ll have to wait and see how 2023 will turn out for Tony Khan’s company. If anything, he’s still going just as hard as ever with his pro wrestling company.
