The wrestling world suffered a major setback with the sudden demise of talented in-performer, Jay Briscoe. The tag team specialist left the world for heavenly abode a few days ago in a tragic accident, and the time has come for his loved ones to say their final goodbyes to Jay. Moreover, AEW President Tony Khan has decided to fly in a lot of his AEW talent to bid farewell to Jay Briscoe.

Jay Briscoe was regarded as one of the best tag team wrestlers in ROH alongside his brother, Mark Briscoe, collectively known as the “Briscoe Brothers.” The duo has set an impressive record of being the 13-time ROH World Tag Team Champions.

Jay and Mark have competed all over the world in various promotions, becoming a well-renowned tag team in wrestling. Their last tag team title reign came at IMPACT Wrestling, defeating Violent By Design to win the titles at Under Siege 2022.

However, tragedy fell upon the Briscoe family as Jay Briscoe suddenly passed away in Laurel, Delaware, on January 17th, 2023, in a vehicle accident. Jay’s daughters were with him during the crash and are reportedly recovering from the injuries suffered.
