Nikkita Lyons quickly became one of the most popular stars on the NXT roster after her televised debut in February 2022. The Lioness of NXT challenged for the women’s tag team titles with Zoey Stark by her side on multiple occasions. The duo, however, failed to get the big win each time.
Zoey Stark turned heel on her partner after their last challenge for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship ended in stunning failure on the November 8, 2022, edition of NXT. Stark would go over her former tag team partner in their televised meeting as well.
Nikkita Lyons recently announced that she won’t be seen in action on NXT for the foreseeable future due to torn ACL and Meniscus. The Lioness of NXT thanked her fans and peers for the support. For those wondering, Shawn Michaels and his team set up an injury angle on NXT last night to write off Lyons from television.
Zoey Stark reacted to Nikkita Lyons’ injury announcement as well. Stark took the opportunity to drag her archrival, taking a shot at her archrival’s social media presence. Check out her reply here:
