AEW aired a tribute package for Jay Briscoe on Dynamite after they got the permission from WarnerBros Discovery executives. The video was produced by Jay’s longtime friend Zane Decker, who did a wonderful job putting together key moments from the late tag team specialist’s life into a single video.

Zane Decker, who was previously with ROH, now AEW poured his heart into this over the last week and did a difficult but beautiful job paying tribute a longtime friend. Zane is not on Twitter.

WWE star Sami Zayn took to Twitter and shared his reaction to the emotional tribute. For those wondering, the Honorary Uce spent years fighting alongside and against Jay Briscoe during his time as El Generico in Ring of Honor and other indie promotions.

Mark Briscoe made his AEW debut on Dynamite as well. The one-half of ROH World Tag Team Champions took on an extremely-emotional Jay Lethal in the main event of Dynamite this week. Mark defeated Lethal with a Jay Driller. He then joined rest of the locker room on the stage.
