Naomi Calls Out False Report About Her WWE Contract Status

Naomi and Sasha Banks drew the attention of the pro wrestling world when they walked out during the beginning of a RAW back in May 2022. Neither of them have returned to WWE, but Sasha did debut for NJPW as Mercedes Mone. As time goes on, more fans are wondering about Naomi, and she had to clear up one report going around.

It was previously reported, via Sean Sapp of Fightful, that, “Naomi’s contract close to expiring at the time of the walkout, but that both sides seemed excited to extend the deal. Specifically, Fightful was told that Naomi was likely headed for the biggest money contract of her career before things got derailed by the situation back in may that led to she and Sasha Banks walking out.”

Naomi read Ringside News’ coverage of this story, and she had to chime in. The Glow called cap on this report as she shared a screenshot from our article along with two simple words to clear everything up.

Naomi also made sure to include a “peace sign” emoji. We can only imagine what else she might have left to say.

With the Royal Rumble event coming up on January 28th, only time will tell if Naomi surprises fans in San Antonio. It is certainly a possibility, but a few things could depend on that happening.
