Kofi Kingston has had a dream career in the WWE. After enjoying a pretty successful start to his WWE career, Kingston took things one step further when he joined The New Day.

Since then, he has had a Hall of Fame worthy career as The New Day went on to become one of the greatest tag teams of all time. After several runs as tag champs, Kofi went after and won the WWE Championship fulfilling his lifelong dream.

After so many years in the company, Kingston is still reinventing himself but he is also looking to elevate the younger talent. That is why The New Day moved to NXT. Immediately upon arriving in NXT, the New Day captured the NXT Tag Team Championships from Pretty Deadly.

While all of this is going on within the company, Kofi Kingston has started a fundraiser on Go Fund Me called “The CLICK for Quality Education Foundation” which is a “nonprofit organization that aims to help establish quality award-winning computer labs and integrated centers of learning (library media centers) for Junior High Schools in Ghana, especially in deprived areas.”

The nice initiative by Kofi has garnered the attention of Kevin Owens who donated $1,000 to help the fund reach its target goal of $30,000. The fundraiser has raised $4,708 from 76 donors as of writing this article. Kevin Owens also donated to the Jay Briscoe fundraiser, which smashed 2 separate goals and finally closed at just over $200k.

It’s good to see Kofi Kingston taking an interest in helping kids from his home country get access to computer labs. You can find the Go Fund Me page here if you to make donations. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we bring you similar stories.
