Cody Rhodes Remembers Jay Briscoe After Tragic Passing

The pro wrestling world is broken at the tragic passing of Jay Briscoe. The Ring of Honor icon and revered tag team specialist was involved in terrible car crash that resulted in two deaths on Tuesday evening.

WMDT News reported that the incident occurred in the area of Laurel Road and Little Hill Road around 5:30 pm and caused an extended road closure. The terrible news was shared by Tony Khan on Twitter as well.

Cody Rhodes also paid tribute to Jay Briscoe in the wake of his untimely passing. The American Nightmare recalled that Jay’s family meant everything to him. Check out his tweet here:

WWE NXT announced the news of Jay Briscoe’s passing during their live broadcast tonight. The official Twitter account of NXT also retweeted Shawn Michael’s message of condolence for the Briscoe family.
