Vince McMahon’s return to power last week has created a lot of confusion. Since his return, there have been several rumors doing the rounds. One of the rumors was that Vince was planning to make changes to WWE creative which worried a lot of the talent.

It was earlier reported that a talent meeting would take place before tonight’s episode of SmackDown. We previously covered how Triple H ensured talent that creative will not change.

According to Fightful Select, Kevin Dunn spoke during the meeting and stated that Vince hasn’t said anything to him about WWE creative, and he emphasized that they worked together for 40 years. Kevin Dunn further stated that Vince McMahon made suggestions regarding other departments, but it wasn’t implemented.

“We’ve also discovered that Kevin Dunn spoke at the talent meeting. He said that he’d worked for Vince McMahon for 40 years and since coming back Vince hasn’t said a peep to him about making changes. We had heard that Vince had made suggestions regarding other departments, but that it wasn’t implemented.”

Vince McMahon’s return to WWE was to usher in a sale. There are several possible buyers, including Comcast, Endeavor (UFC’s parent company), and, of course, Saudi Arabia. This is a very interesting situation, but it won’t result in any change to creative right now.

Vince McMahon is currently serving as Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors once again, but that might not be enough to satisfy his thirst for power. It was previously reported that Vince might consider selling WWE to The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia to regain creative control.

Although Vince McMahon hasn’t spoken to Kevin Dunn regarding returning to WWE Creative, it must have crossed his mind at some point. Only time will tell if Vince McMahon will regain creative control of WWE. After all, WWE is still Vince McMahon’s company.
