Vince McMahon returned to WWE, and it didn’t take him long at all to regain control of the company’s Board of Directors. Now a reported sale to Saudi Arabia is making the rounds in a huge way.

WWE has reportedly agreed to sell the company to Saudi Arabia. This reported plan will see the company go private once again, eliminating the need for any financial transparency. Naturally, this was a big topic of discussion backstage at NXT, and people were scared, but no official word came down regarding the situation.

Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that the writing team and producers have not been told about any impending sale yet. This means that the word traveling around is a non-confirmed report at this point.

People on the writing team, and in production have not been informed of a sale.

This is a very interesting situation, because there are a lot of unanswered questions. At this time, nothing has been confirmed, but it was also noted that the outlet has, “nowhere near confirmed this at all, and plenty doesn’t add up as of yet.”

WWE and their shareholders stand to make a lot of money, and Vince McMahon will rake in the biggest paycheck if a sale goes through. Many people within WWE are pretty nervous right now, and understandably so. We will keep our eye on this still-developing story here at Ringside News.
