Saraya made her debut for AEW at Dynamite: Grand Slam in New York on September 21st, 2022. A month later on Dynamite, Saraya brawled with Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., marking the first time the former WWE Divas Champion got physical in wrestling since her career-ending injury in December 2017. At AEW Full Gear, Saraya defeated Britt Baker, marking her first wrestling match since 2017. Naturally, many fans would love to see the former Paige live.

Following the loss, Britt Baker confronted Saraya on the December 7th episode of Dynamite by handing her two tickets to the January 11th show and challenging her to a tag team match, with Saraya having the freedom to choose her partner for her match against Baker & Jamie Hayter. Last week, Saraya announced Toni Storm as her partner for the January 11th edition of Dynamite.

On her Twitch stream, Saraya explained what she did with the tickets that Britt Baker gave her last month. They went to two unnamed friends.

“I put them to good use. I gave my two tickets away to my friends. Why does wrestling internet have to twist everything and make everything a conspiracy theory?”

Saraya’s rivalry with Britt Baker doesn’t seem like it will be over anytime soon. With AEW gearing up for their annual Revolution pay-per-view, it only makes sense for Tony Khan to conclude the storyline by pitting them up against each other for a final showdown at Revolution.

It’s unknown who Saraya actually gave the tickets to, however, speculation points towards Mercedes Mone and Naomi making a possible appearance on the January 11th episode of Dynamite. It is to be noted that several Warner Bros. Discovery higher-ups will be attending the show in Los Angeles.
