Johnny Gargano Out Of Action With Injury

Johnny Gargano made his surprise return to WWE under the Triple H regime and immediately entered into a rivalry with The Miz. It appears that the Rebel Heart will be out of action for sometime.

Kevin Patrick noted during WWE RAW tonight that Johnny Gargano couldn’t show up on the show because he suffered a “Grade 2 AC sprain.” The WWE commentator didn’t provide additional details on the injury.

Gargano’s wife Candice LeRae also provided an update on his medical condition during a backstage interview with Cathy Kelley. The Poison Pixie confirmed the sprain and said doctors had advised her husband to take a break from in-ring competition.

It is unclear when Johnny Gargano suffered the injury. The former NXT Champion pulled double duty during WWE live event in Columbus on December 26, 2022. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more.
