WWE Finally Acknowledges Sasha Banks’ Exit

Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of WWE together when they didn’t like Vince McMahon’s booking. Banks is now Mercedes Mone, and she made big splash at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 17 event as she attacked KAIRI during the big show. It seems WWE is finally making the changes they need to signify that The Boss is no longer with the company.

WWE quietly moved Sasha Banks to their alumni section. Her name is now included among those who used to work for WWE, but they are no longer with the company.

Naomi was not included in that move, which is very interesting. The Glow is still listed as an active Superstar.

There are those in WWE who believe Sasha Banks will return eventually. This is reportedly a reason why she didn’t want to lock herself into a three-year AEW contract. Only time will tell if she can work out another kind of deal with Tony Khan.
