Kevin Owens has been having a phenomenal year. First, he got to wrestle an all-time great Stone Cold Steve Austin and if that wasn’t enough, he got to team up with John Cena to hand Roman Reigns his first non-televised non-DQ loss of the year. It almost seems like Owens had an almost-perfect year.

Following his match against Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn, an interesting statistic was revealed regarding Kevin Owens. Obviously, this was a big night for KO, but he also made WWE History.

Kevin Owens is the first WWE Superstar since 2002 to appear in matches involving Steve Austin and John Cena in the same year. This is quite an accomplishment, but it also marks the last full year the Texas Rattlesnake was a full-time WWE Superstar.

Kevin Owens had the perfect end to 2022 when he and John Cena defeated Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn last night on SmackDown. It will be interesting to see if 2023 will be even better for Owens. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more coverage of such stories.
