Jade Cargill Was Once Told She Would Amount To Nothing But A Housewife

Jade Cargill made a huge impact after debuting in AEW and her booking has been good example of that. As the TBS Women’s Champion, Jade Cargill commands a level of respect and dominance that hardly anyone can match up to. While she might be a star now, it wasn’t always like this for her. In fact, Cargill was once told she would amount to nothing more than a housewife.

Jade Cargill’s current undefeated streak has been compared to Goldberg’s in WCW, and it is not hard to see why. After all, Cargill’s sheer dominance over the women’s division continues to impress fans in a huge way.

While speaking on “Brut America,” Cargill recalled the struggle that she had to face when she was a student basketball player in Florida. Cargill recalled how a coach told her she would amount to nothing more than a housewife.

“I had one of my coaches that told me that I was going to amount to nothing but a housewife. I’d seen what she did, and I told myself I was going to be 10 times better than whatever she thought I was going to be.

Jade Cargill successfully retained her title against Keira Hogan on Rampage this week. We’ll have to wait how AEW will continue to book her in the coming weeks.
