Braun Strowman Gets Intercontinental Title Match Against Gunther

Braun Strowman has been trying to get GUNTHER into a title match for weeks. The Monster Among Men will finally get the opportunity to claim the Intercontinental Championship in two weeks’ time.

WWE announced that GUNTHER will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Braun Strowman on the January 13, 2023, edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

GUNTHER accidently got his head busted open by Ricochet on SmackDown last night. The One and Only came to the ring to make the save for Strowman from Imperium.

Gunther saw Ricochet and tried to get out of the ring. However, the Ring General got a little off on the timing and ended up getting clipped on the back of the head with a chair shot. He was checked on by WWE officials at ringside.
