Erick Redbeard, the former Erick Rowan, was released by WWE in April 2020, as part of COVID-19 budget cuts. The Royal Rumble is fast approaching and fans are excited about former WWE Superstars making their return during the event. Some fans even wonder whether Rowan will return to WWE, but it seems Rowan isn’t all that sure about it.

The Royal Rumble Premium Live Event will be the first major event under Triple H’s leadership, so fans are certainly excited at the prospect of shocking returns during the show. This is especially the case after last year’s Rumble event was so disappointing for many fans.

While speaking to Steve Fall on Ten Count, the former WWE Superstar was also asked about possibly appearing during the Royal Rumble event. Rowan stated that he would be the last to know about an appearance.

“As far as appearing, I would be the last to know. I feel like the fans like figure out or through, you know, people call it dirt sheets but it’s basically just journalism without, you know, verified facts. I will sometimes feel like you’ll hear rumors and then all of a sudden they come true. I’ll probably hear a rumor, I don’t know.”

With Triple H hiring previously-released WWE Superstars as of late, it would not be far-fetched to believe Erick Redbeard could be returning next month. We’ll have to see whether that will end up happening.
