Santos Escobar ran through opponents with the rest of Legado Del Fantasma by his side in Triple H’s version of NXT before his SmackDown debut. Tonight, Escobar wrestled in a fatal-five way ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship.

Santos Escobar squared off against Kofi Kingston, Madcap Moss, Shinsuke Nakamura, and GUNTHER for his Intercontinental Championship in a ladder match at the WWE post-Christmas holiday tour in Madison Square Garden.

Kofi Kingston avoided a scary botch at one point during the match as well. Kingston, however, landed hard on Escobar’s knee after hitting him with a double stomp from the top of the ladder.

The Legado Del Fantasma leader needed assistance to walk after the match. It appears that Kingston’s landing did some damage to Santos Escobar. We hope it’s nothing serious.
