Kofi Kingston continues to impress fans and peers alike with his incredible athleticism. Tonight, the one-third of New Day used his in-ring awareness to avoid a potential injury.

WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER put his title on the line against Kofi Kingston, Madcap Moss, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Santos Escobar in a ladder match at a house show in Madison Square Garden tonight.

At one point during the match, Kofi Kingston attempted a leap from the turnbuckle to prevent Santos Escobar from winning the title. The wedged ladder, however, gave in as soon as Kingston used it for leverage.

Thankfully, Kofi Kingston avoided the scary botch and immediately went after Escobar by climbing the ladder. The spot ended with Kingston hitting the Legado Del Fantasma leader with a double stomp from the top rope.
