Triple H is one of the biggest names in the pro wrestling world, and his contributions to the industry and never be understated. However, The Game has done some questionable things over the course of his career and gotten heat with a few people. This included The New Age Outlaws, whom Triple H once believed were going to attack him during a WWE house show.

Billy Gunn and Road Dogg were an integral part of D-Generation X back in the 90s, alongside Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Chyna. They eventually went their separate ways, as Gunn and Dogg came to be known as The New Age Outlaws.

During the mid-2000s, Triple H had heat with Gunn and Dogg, who were in TNA at the time. Around that time, WWE hosted a house show in the same area where both Gunn and Dogg were doing an autograph session with fans.

While speaking on Desert Island Graps, Trevor Murdoch revealed that Triple H thought Gunn and Dogg would attack him during his match at the house show. Due to this, The Game told Murdoch and Lance Cade to keep an eye on him during his match and to defend him, if Gunn and Dogg ever came.

“As soon as they saw those guys climb over the railing and begin kicking the sh*t out of Hunter, they would have thought it was part of the show so nobody would have done anything. Hunter would have just been by himself trying to fight off two guys, and people would have thought: ‘Oh look, this is so cool!

I want you guys at the curtain and I want you watching my whole match. The minute you see those guys, you hit that f*cker, and you proceed to start kicking their f*cking ass.”

Triple H continues to shape WWE into something that fans genuinely enjoy as the head of WWE Creative. Road Dogg is back working for Triple H, while Billy Gunn is having a resurgence in AEW. Things between them have gotten better now, and that’s all that matters.
