Montel Vontavious Porter, more commonly known as MVP has emerged to become one of the most exciting managers for WWE today. MVP has proven to be an asset for the company and a driving force for younger stars to ascend to the next level. Recently, he underwent an MRI for a somewhat injury to his shoulder.

MVP debuted in WWE back in 2006, with his signing hyped for weeks and weeks and introducing him as the Franchise Playa. He was impressive during his first WWE run, winning multiple titles and feuding with major stars like Kane, Mr. Kennedy, and Matt Hardy. However, he was released from his WWE contract in 2010.

The former WWE United States champion made his return to WWE as a surprise entrant into the 2020 Royal Rumble match. Since then, he has been wrestling occasionally and serving as a top-notch manager to younger superstars, most notably “The Hurt Business.” MVP recently posted on Instagram, stating that he got an MRI done for a potential shoulder injury and claiming that injuries are a part of the business.

“Morning MRI on my shoulder. Gladiator shiz. I’m a manager, a business partner. BUT… I get my hands dirty!!! And sometimes injuries are part of the game. Let’s see how this morning progresses.”
