Cody Rhodes became one of the absolute highlights of WWE television after he came back to the company at WrestleMania 38. His feud with Seth Rollins further elevated him and established Rhodes as a massive star in WWE. In fact, despite his absence, he still has a very active fan base and gets tons of support in general. Now it seems Rhodes has good odds to become a world champion by the end of next year.

The American Nightmare had a lot of momentum in his favor, but he has been absent since Hell In A Cell because of a torn pectoral muscle. Cody Rhodes underwent surgery for his injury and has been working hard rehabbing his injury afterwards.

BetOnline released quite a few betting odds for top WWE Superstars eventually becoming a world champion by the end of next year, more notably the WWE and/or the Universal Champion. Cody Rhodes has a 2/1 chance of becoming a champion once 2023 ends.

WWE Universal and/or WWE Champion by the end of 2023

Roman Reigns 3/2 (+150)

Cody Rhodes 2/1

The Rock 2/1

Sami Zayn 5/2 (+250)

Bray Wyatt 5/1

Drew McIntyre 5/1

Kevin Owens 5/1

Seth Rollins 5/1

Cody Rhodes was also looking very jacked in a recent photo amidst his absence. Cody Rhodes hinted at making his return during the Royal Rumble match next year. We’ll have to see if he will end up beating Roman Reigns for the World Titles next year.
