Claudio Castagnoli lost the Ring of Honor World Championship to Chris Jericho during the Grand Slam TV special edition of Dynamite on September 21, 2022. Tonight, the Blackpool Combat Cub member regained the title.

Claudio Castagnoli squared off against Chris Jericho for the Ring of Honor World Championship during Final Battle tonight. The match carried a huge stipulation for the Swiss Superman.

Claudio got the defending champion in The Big Swing during the closing moments of the match. The powerhouse performed the swing for 32 seconds before Jericho tapped out.

The new Ring of Honor World Champion celebrated his win with Jerry Lynn and Wheeler Yuta as the show went off the air. Had Claudio lost the match, he would’ve ended up in the Jericho Appreciation Society.
