Trent Seven was released from his NXT UK contract on August 18, 2022 after spending several years as a top star on the brand. Tonight, he made his AEW debut during Rampage.

Trent Seven was revealed as the mystery opponent for Orange Cassidy, who put his All-Atlantic Championship on the line this week on Rampage. Kip Sabian teased the arrival of Seven earlier during the show.
Trent made an announcement a few days ago that he would be stepping away from the squared circle to focus on himself. He, however, made it clear that “it’s not goodbye forever, there’s just work that needs to be done.”
It remains to be seen if Trent Seven will stay with AEW for the foreseeable future or if he just showed up for one night only. Keep reading Ringside News for more from AEW Rampage.
