Last week on AEW Dynamite, MJF attacked William Regal, resulting in him being taken to a nearby medical facility in an ambulance. This segment seemingly ended William Regal’s run with the company. The biggest question remained regarding the Blackpool Combat Club’s status. Many fans believed that the group would disband following Regal’s departure. Through it all, Jon Moxley was present, but he wasn’t 100%.

This week on Dynamite, Jon Moxley cut a promo backstage before accompanying his Blackpool Combat Club stablemates to the ring for their match indicating that their faction was stronger than ever despite William Regal’s betrayal. While Jon Moxley was present at the show, Renee Paquette was missing.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, both Jon Moxley and Renee Paquette were very ill this week. Moxley showed up at the taping, because he knew he had to continue the William Regal angle while also keeping the Blackpool Combat Club together.

During the taping, Tony Khan asked if Moxley could wrestle Konosuke Takeshita, as he wanted to make Rampage stronger. Moxley wrestled the match and everyone was happy with the outcome. We won’t spoil that match, but it was a bloody affair.
