William Regal surprised the entire wrestling community when he showed up at AEW Revolution earlier this year. Following his debut, he quickly formed the Blackpool Combat Club. That faction featured two of AEW’s top stars, Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson. Now, the BCC is no more, and Chris Jericho seems very happy about this.

In a surprising turn of events, William Regal turned on Jon Moxley and helped MJF win the AEW World Championship at AEW Full Gear. A couple of weeks later, Regal was viciously assaulted by MJF that resulted in him being stretchered out of the arena. This also marked the end of his AEW run.

Following his departure from the company, William Regal posted message for the Blackpool Combat Club. Now, Chris Jericho has reacted to the tweet by saying good riddance to William Regal.

Good riddance Regal. The #JerichoAppreciationSociety wins again. Glad you didn’t die in @aew….

While there hasn’t been any official confirmation from WWE yet, William Regal is rumored to return to the company soon. We will have to wait and see when Regal makes his appearance on WWE television, but he will have to wait out 2023 before that can happen.
