Tony Khan had a lot on his plate this past fall. The controversial fallout from the All Out pay-per-view that involved CM Punk, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and Ace Steel made headlines across the media. Now a personal family matter is coming to light during that time.

Tony Khan mentioned during the ROH media call that after the All Out pay-per-view, his mother suffered a stroke coming out of the event. That was a horrible time for the family on top of the issues within AEW. Sean Sapp covered the media event via Twitter.

Tony Khan said between All Out and Grand Slam, his mother had a stroke, and it was a rough time for he and his family in addition to the things coming out of All Out.

To make things more complicated, a few weeks after the episode, his mother had another stroke in October. Khan did not reportedly mention how his mother doing in the media call about her recovery from the second stroke.

He noted that after that they got her home and spent time with her, his mother had another stroke in October. Just horrible news.

It’s difficult to imagine how hard it must be to handle a very critical situation on a project you love whilst possibly almost losing a loved one. Thoughts and prayers to Tony and his family during this time.
