Goldberg is certainly a legend in the pro wrestling business, especially after making a name for himself during WCW. His threatening on-screen demeanor usually welcomes challenges from anyone in the wrestling business. Despite the fact that he’s one of the most dominate forces in pro wrestling history, Goldberg never wanted to tangle with his mini-me.

When Gillberg made his WWE debut in the late 1990s, he started to impersonate Goldberg. He made fun of the former WCW star’s whole act, including his well-known entrance and move repertoire.

Many fans wanted to see Goldberg vs Gillberg, but it never went down. Gill revealed that the two-time Universal Champion always declined any confrontation throughout the years on Rene Dupree’s Cafe de Rene podcast.

I tell you one thing: Goldberg fears Gillberg. I’ve asked him many times to his face, ‘Let’s have this match?’ and he won’t do it. It’s the only thing I can figure, he’s scared of me. He knows I’ll bust him up, man. Look out!

At Elimination Chamber 2022 in February, Goldberg lost to Roman Reigns in his most recent ring action. He may or may not wrestle in additional matches for WWE.

Over the years, Gillberg has taken part in brief interviews with the 2018 Hall of Famer on WWE television. He just recently retired in 2020, and he suffered heart attack that same year. Thankfully, he seems to have recovered from that health issue. The exchanges, meanwhile, never resulted in legitimate match. You can check out the full interview below.
