William Regal made his way to AEW back in March after he was released by WWE at the beginning of this year. Fans were happy to see him in AEW afterwards, but it didn’t last long. A lot of stories are going around right now, and one rumor about Regal was also debunked recently.

As previously reported, William Regal has officially parted ways with AEW. This was right after he written off television on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

Busted Open Radio’s Justin LeBar recently took to Twitter and mentioned rumors of how William Regal was not appreciated by talent.

So what I’m picking up is Regal done w/ AEW, back to WWE soon. Close w/ HHH but also his wisdom & coaching not appreciated/received the way you would think by some in AEW locker room who feel they have 6-figure multi year deals & Regal’s advice is behind times or beneath them.

Naturally, many fans found this rumor to be unfounded. AEW star Brian Pillman Jr. saw the tweet and decided to set the record straight by debunking those rumors.

This is not entirely true. There are several of us, myself included, who spent multiple hours before TV working with Regal and learning from him.

Should there have been more? Maybe, but he and Danielson always had a solid audience around the ring before TV.”

William Regal is expected to begin his WWE run next year. It remains to be seen what William Regal will do once he returns to WWE next year, as fans are excited to see his progress in WWE once he’s back.
