Dustin Rhodes is a true veteran in pro wrestling, and he is currently in the last run of his in-ring career. He has entertained fans for several decades with various gimmicks, but is now ready to end his in-ring career for good. This is because 2023 will be the last year he will be wrestling as an in-ring competitor.

Rhodes made his pro wrestling debut on September 13, 1988, for the Tampa-based Championship Wrestling from Florida promotion. He eventually went to WWE and came to be known as Goldust, changing the landscape of pro wrestling in numerous ways.

Following a long run in WWE and other promotions, Rhodes made his way to AEW, where he seldom competes, but he is active as a coach backstage. According to a tweet by Premier Streaming Network, Dustin Rhodes announced during Great Lakes Championship Wrestling’s Blizzard Brawl event on December 3rd that 2023 will be the last year he will wrestle.
