Brian Kendrick was supposed to make his AEW debut on the February 2, 2022 episode of Dynamite, but the company cancelled the plans due to Kendrick’s previous controversial remarks. Kendrick recently tried out as a producer in WWE.

Kendrick was brought in to produce the Ronda Rousey versus Shotzi Blackheart match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship match at WWE Survivor Series WarGames alongside Jason Jordan.

According to PWInsider, Kendrick isn’t officially back with company as of yet though the company did bring him to put up the SmackDown Women’s Championship match alongside Jason Jordan for Survivor Series.

Kendrick was pulled from his scheduled AEW match with Jon Moxley after a video of him questioning the Holocaust went viral on the internet. The former SmackDown star apologized for his insensitive comments as well.

It remains to be seen if Brian Kendrick will be rehired by WWE as a producer. He worked as backstage producer from 2020 till his release from the company in 2022.
