Ringside News asked around about the report that said Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens is the next direction for the Tribal Chief, likely at the Royal Rumble. We are told that this decision is still not totally decided on.

A tenured member of the creative team told Ringside News that, “it all depends on Triple H, Roman and Heyman getting together and laying out a plan.” That being said, the idea of KO vs the Head of the Table does have support internally.

We were told that Michael Hayes might be involved in the planning process for Roman Reigns’ next program, because he has often been included in the exclusive circle of people who work on Roman Reigns’ creative direction.

Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns faced off in a last man standing match at the 2021 Royal Rumble event. It would be interesting to see that match go down again, because it could kick off a big storyline on the road to WrestleMania.

There are a couple of possibilities on which way WWE can go with things. At this point, it might appear that we know exactly where they’re going, but the entire plan isn’t locked down just yet.
