Austin Theory squared off against Bobby Lashley and defending champion Seth Rollins for the United States Championship in a triple-threat match at WWE Survivor Series WarGames.

The youngest Money in the Bank winner was thrown out of the ring as soon as match started. Theory regained momentum and showed an aggressive side to his personality during the match.

Corey Graves noted that Theory’s new attitude reminded him of Seth Rollins when the Architect of the Shield first broke into WWE’s main roster at Survivor Series a decade ago.

The closing moments of the match saw Rollins deliver a superplex on Theory. The Visionary was caught off guard with a spear from Lashley before he could hit Theory with a falcon arrow. Theory then pinned Rollins for the win.
