Saturday’s win got Styles his first singles pay-per-view event victory in nearly three years. The Phenomenal One last won a singles match at the Crown Jewel premium live event in 2019.

Moreover, Styles is now 1-1 in singles competition against Finn Balor. The Judgment Day leader won their last singles encounter, which took place the TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs PLE in 2017.

Balor was originally booked to face Bray Wyatt, but the match was changed at the last minute because of Wyatt contracting a viral infection. Styles and Balor put up a clinic in front of the fans that night.
