Ever since his comeback in 2020, Roman Reigns seems to be unstoppable, tearing down everyone who comes his way. Currently, he is the longest reigning WWE Universal Champion and certainly on the top of the food chain. Despite having accomplished such great achievements, he has lost the respect of an acclaimed WWE Superstar.

Roman Reigns joined the company alongside Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins as part of the iconic wrestling stable The Shield. Roman’s had quite a memorable run with The Shield which also helped establish himself amongst wrestling fans.

Roman Reigns has accomplished a lot as The Tribal Chief, however some believe his run as the Head of The Table has made him quite complacent. In a recent interview with CricketNext, 2-time WWE Champion Drew McIntyre spoke about Reigns, stating that he is no longer the workhorse he used to be.

“Roman [Reigns] someday I used to respect so much as a man, as a performer, as a workhorse. He’s incredible in the ring but he’s not the workhorse he once was,”

The two last squared off at Clash at the Castle last September. His efforts to capture the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship were foiled by Solo Sikoa whose interference helped The Tribal Chief retain his title. Drew McIntyre recently set his sights back on Roman Reigns after the WWE Crown Jewel premium live event. Only time will tell if he can successfully bring down The Trible Chief this time around.
