Nikki Cross debuted her faux-superhero gimmick and changed her ring name to Nikki A.S.H. with A.S.H. standing for “Almost a Super Hero.” During her time as Nikki A.S.H., she won the Money in the Bank ladder match, the RAW Women’s Championship, and also the Tag Team Titles. However, many fans were always critical of her gimmick.

Rob Downie recently tweeted that fans got mad at him for helping Nikki Cross pitch her “almost superhero” gimmick. To this, Nikki Cross responded saying she loved her run as Nikki A.S.H.

“They might not have liked it, but I loved my MITB Win, my Raw Women’s Championship run and history making 3 time Tag Team Championships# reign (1st woman to do so) and multiple wins as 24/7 champ. I had convos with kids who adored it, dressed up like me and it warmed my heart,” tweeted Nikki Cross.

On the October 24th edition of Monday Night RAW, Nikki Cross interfered in match between Bayley and Bianca Belair and seemed to revert back to her previous gimmick and name. She then joined Damage CTRL and will now face Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, and Mia Yim at Survivor Series WarGames.
